CPB Mini Driver
Custom Pedal Boards Mini Driver provides convincing amp-like tones, from transparent cleans, with a nice volume boost available, to crispy crunch. Like a tube amp, the more volume and gain you add, the more mid range and compression you get and at full blast, the Mini Driver enters Power Booster and Tube Driver territory. Think of it as a Colorsound Power Boost but without the EQ.
Can be used as a Boost or Overdrive. There is also an internal trim pot, which you can adjust to taste, that affects the gain and voltage going to the transistor (it comes set where we think it sounds right). The CPB Mini Driver has massive amounts of headroom on tap.
Sounds great when combined with other gain pedals such as the CPB Muff War, Big Up, Mustard Drive and Mr Squeezy.
Mini pedals are a great space saver, especially on loop switcher boards!
Top Tip – Get more volume and/or gain by cascading with other gain and boost pedals, such as the CPB Big Up, Muff War, Mr Squeezy or Mustard Drive
